- 12 Medjool dates pitted
- ½ cup peanut butter or almond/cashew butter
- ¼ cup peanuts optional
- ½ cup dark chocolate chips or your choice of chocolate
Slice each date in half lengthwise and remove the pit.

Melt the chocolate in a heatproof bowl over simmering water or in the microwave in 30-second intervals.
