Ingredients
  

  • 3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup chopped sun-dried tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, oregano, and red pepper flakes.
  • Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and sear until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  • Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add chicken broth, heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and sun-dried tomatoes. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.
  • Return chicken to the skillet, spooning sauce over the top. Transfer skillet to the preheated oven.
  • Bake until chicken is cooked through, about 15 minutes.
  • Garnish with chopped fresh basil before serving.

Notes

Serve over pasta, rice, or with crusty bread to soak up the delicious sauce. For a lighter version, substitute half-and-half for heavy cream.
